Beta Launch Features
In the Beta, everyone will play as if they own a Common Frame NFT. This database item will be removed following the Beta when all stats are reset.
The Beta version of PokerGO Play will NOT INCLUDE Sweepstakes entries, although the Chip -> Ticket flow will be demonstrated by the daily tally and reset of each player’s Chips to get an idea of what the web3 version will look like.
Players will not yet have the ability to play with owned NFTs, although many of them will be sold early in the Gala Games store and tradable on secondary markets even before they are playable in-game.
NFTs
NFT ownership can enhance your experience without affecting the rules of the games you already know you love! We wouldn’t dream of messing with poker rules, but owning NFTs on top of it can be pretty fun!
Frames
The Avatar Frame NFT is the core of the web3 ownership experience. Its rarity determines a few things, including the number of Ability and Upgrade slots your Avatar can use, your Daily Starting Chips, and your daily Chip Carryover Percentage (that one is HUGE). The Frame NFT starts it all.
Avatars
Some lucky players may find opportunities to play with special exclusive NFT Avatars, and it’s possible that those NFT Avatars may offer special Sweepstakes Ticket bonuses based on rarity. With the game’s initial full launch, everyone will choose from the same awesome selection of database player Avatars.

Think of the Beta version of PokerGO Play simply as a web2 version of the game. There are no $GALA rewards of any kind, but we still want to reward your participation! Here’s the deal:
