Town Star Nodes Now Available
After a landslide majority vote from the Founder’s Node community in favor of their addition, Town Star Nodes are being added as the first Game Specific Node in the Gala Games ecosystem. This is cause for celebration, and a tremendous step toward Gala Games becoming the largest decentralized network of gamers in the world.

Town Star Nodes were announced to the community on November 15th with THIS POST, then all your questions were answered on November 17th with THIS FAQ. The majority of Founder’s Node operators participated in a governance vote that ended on November 18th. The results were 96% in favor of adding Town Star Nodes as a new layer of the Gala Node Ecosystem.
The number of Town Star Node licenses in existence is always limited by the number of max Daily Active Earners (DAE) in Town Star Play-to-Earn. Additionally, licenses are being released in batches in the Town Star store.

Current Sale — 2 Batches
Today, 600 Town Star Node licenses are being made available for sale at 2 different pricing tiers. The first 400 Node licenses will be sold for the lowest price, followed by a 25% increase on the next batch of 200 (minus the licenses dropped to Founder’s Nodes), which will be released shortly after the first 400 sell out. Members of Gala Gold and Founder’s Node operators were notified 24 hours in advance the exact time of the sale.
As agreed to in the Founder’s Node vote, 30 Town Star Node licenses (5%) have already been distributed to Founder’s Node operators.
Running Your Town Star Node
Once a license is purchased, a Town Stare Node can be run alongside a Founder’s Node using the existing Gala Games Node software. It should be noted that the most recent version of the software is required to run Town Star Nodes.
